Patch v0.6.002 - This update includes changes to the following:

  • Performance increase by replacing building lights with street lights (buildings still have window 'lights' which are glowing yellow material). Street lights use baked lighting and different timer to building lights. Street lights are supplied by substations (currently not drawing power, but will turn off/on depending on if a nearby substation is energised). Lowest graphics setting will use no street lights.
  • Two new missions
  • Can no longer Ctrl connect (shortcut) a load to a substation that is not energised. Can also now Ctrl connect a load that has power issues (substation failure or disconnection) to a nearby operational substation
  • Blinking '?' and '!' now use real time rather than game time, so they will appear to blink even with super slow gameplay mode
  • New load placement is slightly slower (~15%)
  • Skybox colours tweaked and code slightly more efficient
  • Added brownout effect for overheating substations
  • Improved code around building count limit and making the city grow (with more advanced buildings rather than building count)
  • Fixed bug where alerts won't start under certain conditions of saved games
  • Other minor bug fixes
